Jeff Fisher has been invited back to Bellingham to give a keynote address and to receive the Distinguished Alumni Award from Western Washington University. His work in retail design has been with many easily-recognizable brands such as Universal Studios, the National Basketball Association, LEGO, Sprint Nextel Corporation and Sunglass Hut. For his keynote, he’ll share his experience as a retail designer and how he weaves a tale in three dimensions that begins and ends with the customer experience. How everything the customer sees, encounters and interacts with speaks to the experience through either harmony or dissonance — and sometimes both.

About the speaker:

Jeff graduated from Western Washington University with a B.S. in Visual Communications. He departed from the conventional design career path and charted a career in environmental graphic design. Along the way, he’s worked for Universal Studios, the National Basketball Association, LEGO, Sprint Nextel Corporation, Sunglass Hut and Luxottica in Milan, Italy. His titles have ranged from Director of Retail Merchandising to Director of Global Store Experience during his career.
